Cap table software comparison

Considering an alternative to Pulley?

Pulley and Diligence Ready are both cap table software, built for different priorities. This page compares them on stated facts, not superiority, with sources and an as-of date for anything said about Pulley. Diligence Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a replacement for Pulley (Prolific Labs Incorporated).

Honest comparison Dated & sourced

Sourced comparison criteria

How this comparison was put together.

Statements about Diligence Ready come from this website. Statements about Pulley are drawn from Pulley's own public pages, cited below, as of September 19, 2026. Intended users

Both describe themselves as built for founders, differently.

Pulley describes itself as

Cap table management for founders and finance leaders, from first issuance through later-stage equity needs.1

Diligence Ready is built for

Founders and company leaders, plus CFOs, advisors, and accountants managing more than one client's readiness at once.

Ownership & cap table workflow

Both maintain a live cap table as the core record.

Pulley describes a single source of truth for issuances, grants, and vesting, with a fixed price per stakeholder.2 Diligence Ready maintains the same kind of transaction-backed cap table, detailed on our cap table page, connected to financial evidence and diligence documents in the same workflow.

Dilution modeling is common ground worth trying directly on each.

Pulley states its tools let users visualize dilution and ownership percentages across fundraising or hiring scenarios.2 Diligence Ready models priced rounds, SAFEs, pool refreshes, and exit waterfalls on your live cap table, detailed on our scenario modeling page. Depth and workflow differ enough that a direct trial is more useful than either description alone.

Connected diligence

Where Diligence Ready's approach differs, and where it has limits.

Diligence Ready connects the cap table to an ongoing diligence checklist and a shareable data room, built from documents kept current in your own Google Drive or OneDrive. We could not confirm from Pulley's public pages whether Pulley offers an equivalent connected diligence room; that's marked Unknown above rather than assumed. Diligence Ready is a newer, narrower platform overall, and doesn't publish independent security certifications the way Pulley states it does. Whether either tradeoff matters depends on what your company needs.

Migration questions

Ask these before moving a cap table off Pulley or anywhere else.

  • How will historical transactions and prior versions transfer?
  • Do you rely on Pulley features, like managed services or specific integrations, that aren't part of Diligence Ready?
  • Who needs to review the migrated cap table before you rely on it?

We don't claim migration between any two providers goes smoothly by default. Plan for a review step regardless of which platform you choose.

Pricing

See current pricing for yourself.

Diligence Ready's current pricing is on our pricing page. Pulley states a fixed price per stakeholder, with its Startup plan listed at $1,200 per year for up to 25 stakeholders on Pulley's own pricing page.3 Confirm current numbers directly with each provider before deciding.
